I got up at 6:00am and hit a smaller lake. It is pretty busy during the summer. A lot of rules,so I never try it until off season. I got a few pennys, and nickles. I though maybe no one has been here. Then I got 2 quaters. People don't miss quaters in ankle deep water. People must have swimmed their brains off here. There was change everywhere. I got a lowtone and a nice 14kt gold girls ring. Nice weight. then I got a heavy Irish Caladia band. Sterling silver. Finaly I got a fat size13 mens 14 kt weding band. Carved,a real beauty. What a morning. I wond up with $6.75 In change 3 keepers and some other junk jewelry. I'm going back tommorrow. There is still time to water hunt before the fat lady sings. ::) Mike

Nice finds Mike, those old swimming holes are the greatest. There are 3 or 4 here where I live, all I need to do is figure a way to get to them since homes have been built around them. Some would yeild an extreme amount. Congrats again on your finds.

Thanks Fl. Mike. As soon as I can get my sons to show me how to post pictures I will. You are rite I know of a old swimmeing hole around here. I detected it years ago. The water detectors were crap compared to now. I still filled my poch, every trip. It was all antique jewelry. I got tired of dodging the local cops[posted land]. Now some guy bougth and is develeping it with big buck houses. They use it to fish and canoe. If only they knew, what they were sitting on. :-\ Good luck. Mike
