Water and land finds from the last 4 days.

I found everything in the water except the change purse and turkey. I found 5 more sleigh bells after I took the picture 4 that were still attached to the leather. The bells have a patent date May,22,1878 that makes 25 and what a day. The sash buckle has an iron frame and is wrapped with what looks to be graphite. If anyone has any info about this buckle please let me know because I have never seen one like it. The change purse is my first whole one and is in great shape to boot, but there was no money in it.

Those change purses were popular in the first half of the 20th century. I remember seeing them as a kid in the mid 1950s. Being metal composition, they usually didn't last too long underground. Nice!

Thank's for the comments everyone I found 26 bells now. That makes 13 on each side and I don't know how may were on a harness. If someone has any info please let me know.
