Here are acouple of fobs I found in 1997/1998.
Sorry the pics aren't that good, they don't show any detail, and I didn't shoot the back sides.

One looks to be maybe Military, the other is a Fur Trading Co out of St Louis MO.
Wish I still had them. I got stupid and sold them on Ebay.

The first fob is the U.S.Army Great Seal... which has been in use since 1902, and is on all things army... do you remember at all what was on the back? It's a watch fob alright, and prolly very common.

Ooooh, I really like the Fur company fob. It's a real cutey. I have never dug a watch fob - ever. I've dug many pocket watches, but never a fob - I'm so bummed about that. Hope my luck changes early next month. Nice finds. I've sold some things, too, and usually I regretted it later. At the time, though, the money comes in handy - don't you agree?
