Hey guys: Found this in the morning at a old site in Poughkeepsie, NY. It reads "Centennial of peace between United States and Great Britain 1783-1883". On back " Washington's Headquarters Newburgh, NY.
Any help on how old? 1883?
Thanks,
Earthworks...

Dude - really cool find for the history of the local area as it relates to U.S. History....I am still looking, so far I found this at an auction site called Bobslawsky.com, but no indication of price:
180. Centennial of Peace between United States & Great Britain (Washington) 1783-1883, rev. Washington's Headquarters (pict) Newburgh, NY, wm, 32mm, XF-AU hfs, tiny dig on obverse

It was holed with a square nail so I say it is from 1883

What interests me as that it was a common form of cancelling a token (ie square nail in centre). However, this seems to have been done to a pewter medallion :icon_scratch: Maybe it was coin like enough for it to have been punched out of possible circulation with other strange coins :dontknow:
