Got out this evening for about 2 hours with Florian.? I think he is hooked, he was telling me of a possible town nearby that doesn?t exist anymore.? I have to check with my Historical Society friends to try and validate the town, there is a 5 mile stretch where he thinks it is and I?d like to narrow it down a few miles, LOL!? Florian found a few coins but nothing too old, 1924, 1942ish.? We hit a trashy area for several runs up and down the field, talk about taken the trash out!? But we managed a few finds, here?s mine:
A small shoe buckle and the obverse of a lead seal from a company out of Berlin which is about 400+ kilometers from here.
Reverse of the buckle and lead seal, the eagle on the lead seal looks like an older style eagle used several hundred years ago.? But I really have know idea how old these lead seals I find are.
Obverse of a 1921 Aluminum 50 Pfennig coin in good condition and a 1940ish crusty Zinc 5 Pfennig.
Reverse of the coins, you can make out the swastika lower middle of the coin.? Had a good time, weather was perfect for MDing.? HH, Mike
