This nice lady called me and her son had lost her wedding band. She found my number on the internet where I am sign up in GA to help find lost things with a metal detector. Well I get out to help her and spend about 3 hours trying to find the ring but with out any luck. Had a great time and found a new place to metal detect. I will try in the future and find it for her and I have her number and everything if I do. Found a lot of coins at this place, its a natural sliding rock park.

If anybody is near Jefferson GA and want to help in the search for the ring please let me know and I will get you to this park.

We are looking for a gold ring wedding band, lots of rocks it can be under and a little special to detect a place like this but lots of fun.

I can't remember this sites URL where you sign up and help out but it really worked out except I did not find the ring but if I had found it it would really have worked. Not many things on the internet really works like that.

Hello,

I'm in Athens, Georgia, but could make it out to that area on a weekend. Are you using water detectors or land detectors? I hesitate a bit to get my Garrett coil wet (in case I drop the non-water proof controller).

HH.

Yes its all water out there its a sliding rock with running water I use the excalibur from Minelab. If you want to go anyway I will try and give you some some directions.

Maybe we should get out sometime I am in Dacula Ga

I'm up for it. I'll also let you know if/when permission comes on a possible 1812 Fort near Dacula.

I'd help with the park if I had a water detector. But I don't. :-\

Ok that is fine, yes please let me know about the fort in Dacula. I live right next to a historic site here where there is an old Sirup mill ? But its historic so I can't go there. Anyway let me know
