Was just told that my half boxes for tomorrow couldn't be ordered

One of my pick up banks called me today and said that Dunbar told them they didn't have the coins to complete the order. Not sure I believe them yet, I have another bank that gets em from Dunbar too, so we'll see if I hear the same thing from them...


awww crap... I just noticed I have a voice mail from the other bank asking me to call them back! I'm thinking I have 0 boxes to pickup tomorrow!

These banks are in CT about 30 minutes outside NYC... I guess it's time to invade CardsNCoins turf!

Ok, so I've finally thought of a positive that can come out of this! One of these banks has a coin counter that takes $1000 in halves per bag... so no more filling tons of bags at TD cuz I just got a new dump bank. My buy branch doesn't have a coin counter so I don't even have to feel like I'm upsetting the peoples that have been helping me order boxes...

I ran into a similar issue a couple months ago. It only lasted two weeks and everything went back to normal.
