To my eye it is similar to a circa 1400s pfennig of Albrecht of Austria... Pfennig

Since the piece is apparently only stamped or carved on one side with no details on the other side, other than possible leftover Lead or other type of solder to hold it to something, I am going to agree with Mackaydon and also say that it is a Seal. The information of the little envelope may actually be correct for the item. I am not sure that the translation is correct but Zegar is Polish/German for timepiece or time period, Cat L/11 may possibly indicate Circa 50+2 (Year 52) or the Year 1150 depending on how you read it, not sure of the MM but I believe that it indicates it was found by U. Gundlach on July 10th, 1969.

If it is not exactly it I do think your coin is something in the area and type. When I first saw your photos I thought it was likely a pfennig of that era. I have had a few in the past that I worked on identifying.

So I just hit google until I found one I thought looked close. :)

I think these coins are listed as silver but they can (I think) have a range of purity level and might have some significant copper/base metal content to them as well.

I know I've seen similar looking uni-face medieval silver/billon coins for sale mixed with early Hungarian coins of the same period, so if you're out of starting points that may be one.
