Even though it's been below freezing at night here in Southern Idaho it was in the low 40s today so I went out to get a little fresh air and see if I could pierce the ground. In the shady areas the ground was frozen down about 4 inches, but in the sunny parts it was fine. Didn't find anything spectacular, but got a wheat, a lead cavalry soldier and a sterling bracelet charm. Best find of the day was realizing my joints could still bend!

Good to see you get some digging in. 👌
Nice calvary soldier piece.
is there any maker's mark?

It's great to be ending the season on the last day of the year, especially for the northern states/provinces.

Thanks! No maker's mark.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!!

Good that you could get out and find some good stuff! Happy New Year to you and good luck in all your outings!
Thanks. That'll probably be it until late March or early April. January and February are usually our coldest months. Happy New Year!
