✅ SOLVED War of 1812, civil war, or just and old button?

Does anyone know what I just found today. It appears to me to be a button or some type of thing for a necktie bc it has two notchs out of it. One on the top and one on the bottom and the back has two things to fold over. Its got some weight for the size of it.
