You do not have to start a new thread to post photos. New threads and replies you need to click on the third icon from the right and follow instructions, you can post from a photo hosting site or directly from your computer.

Thanks and I believe they r third pick has me wondering never seen one that translucent

The one in the third pic is odd but strangely enough occasionally I find very similar ones with water-level banding and a very translucent yellow color often times with "moss" features. I find them curious, they almost are a family of their own. I probably have 6 or more like that. I have been meaning one day to take some pics and start a thread with a few categories of agates I found - almost completely because of the yellow ones, but also to include a category of ones with colored quartz just for fun.

I would call them lakers if they were found somewhere around MN, WI, IA or MI.

Probably are glacial movement deposited them all over the place
