I think a Tesoro Vaquero would make a good strater and a keeper a very fine machine,opinions will very.
Read the owners manual 4 or 5 times and understand what the manual is telling you,and ask Qs here in the "Tesoro Forum" under "Brands"
Call a couple of our supporting vendors talk to them ,a weath of detector info .

2nd hand machine ?
yes if you trust the seller,we have a classified section here for Charter Members to sell in might find a good one in there.
The Supporting Vendors on here take in trades all the time,and sell them as used big savings call a couple.
