I have a project that I've wanted to work on and that cut GT coin reminded me. Would you be able to put the word out that I am looking for contemporaneously cut copper coins, Large Cents, Half Cents and earlier. British Halfpence & Farthings, State Coppers.... cut in half or in quarters. The only requirements are that it was cut contemporaneously and that I can tell it is a coin because some design element shows. I'd be willing to pay $5 each for them. I'm really expecting that I might get 20 coins out of this, more would be great but I don't think I'd want to go past 100.
