I was searching for river dive videos for some places I'd like to visit this summer, and randomly came across this one. I am totally blown away by the metal detecting wand this guy uses:

He never mentions the model he's using, but you can clearly see that it's small, lightweight, great for probing crevices, and works well at a depth of ~20 ft. :o

And the crevice he comes across that blinks like crazy at around 9:38! Am I the only one who looks at that and weeps that he doesn't have a crevicing hook and a sniping bulb..!?!? All those tightly-packed chips! :blob3:

I've poked around the threads in the metal detecting forum, and done a bunch of google searches, but haven't found a clue what this is. Most of the wand models I can find are only water-resistant to a depth of about 3-10 feet, which this clearly surpasses. Can anyone help me with a positive ID for this beauty?

Got an answer!! It's a Vibra-Quatic!!

Crevicers / snipers, heads up! Seems like a great addition to anyone's kit when prospecting some likely looking cracks. :D

That's neat but in the area's that I snipe there is so much trash that I just clean everything.

Looks cool but PI so need to try on small gold that most miss. A lot of design work went into that unit for sure-thanx much for info-John
