Is this something like a VIN tag? I dug this at an old 1900 library yesterday and would love to know more about it. I hope this isn't a stupid question, but could the CCC have anything to do with Civilian Conservation Corps? There was a camp about 3 mi. from where I found this. Thank you for your replies.
