Adventured out to some islands at a fur trapper's site. Felt like I was walking in the foot steps of the trappers and indians.
Found a Jesuit ring that dates from around the 1630s. and represents the protection of Mary ! Found a copper tinkle cone ( worn on native American dresses), also got a Native American copper hair slide bead. Jean Nicolet went exploring the area in 1630

Congratulations on the ring, it's in great shape for nearing 400 yrs old. It's a bucket lister for sure. Well done on the other recoveries also.
 

Very good finds. Where about in Wisconsin did you go detecting? I have a few trade hatchets I found in Milwaukee but that is all.
