Walkin in the rain - on New Year's Eve

Who would believe that it is New Year's Eve? More like Springtime in the Windy! Two days of swinging in the SW burbs- nothing worth posting, but two great days in the woods - so not a loss! Then I found Sherm's missing head! Wait - I didn't mean it like that! I found his missing Bambi head!

Y'all have a Happy, Sane, Sober New Year's! Well, reasonably sober, at least! Next year!

Re: Walkin in the rain - on New Year's Eve

Thats a weird looking skull, its not a deer skull, snout is to blunt and wide, and if thats an eye socket its huge. Blew it up and that front opening was sawed, for some reason. Looks like 2 vertical saw cuts one on each side of the nasel passages then the top of the skull just flipped and broken off. If i didn`t know better i would say it was a longhorn skull and that large opening visible on the side is where the horn was broken or cut out. If it was a deer and skull capped for the antlers it would be futher back on the head and centered. Moose skull ??

Hey kinda neat find, sort of, LOL. A skull like that could be used for indian artifacts. Some people like to use a skull like that in there flower beds out west.

HH, and hope your next finds are of the metal type,LOL
