Today was absolutely unexpected, not only did I break a New personal record silvers in one day, I didn’t have to walk alone doing it either thanks to Miss Liberty! Ended up taking a nice ride down to check out the surf in south county RI to rewind a bit and boy I’m glad I brought my detector, saw a bunch of guys working a massive cut on an old section of beach and figured why not take a walk and find a nice cut of my own, well I couldn’t have found a better spot, started on a hot trail of clad and kept following until it just kept getting older. Final score: 2 dated buffalo nickels, 1 war nickel, 9 wheaties, 1 IHP, 2 silver rings, 15 SILVER COINS!!!! To top it off 14” deep to my surprise out popped a 1943 Walking Half!!! Never felt so good to sit down and have a smoke looking out into the crazy ocean after a beach hunt with a pouch full of nectar!!
