Wabasso Florida hunt, Any one on here going to join me in Wabasso this weekend?

Just curious if any one else is going to the competition hunt in Wabasso this weekend. Would be nice to actually meet some of the great people on the forum.

Isn't Wabasso beach closed?

According to the Vero News, the beach was closed on Monday of this past week, as contractors stockpiled 175 truckloads of sand there.

Then their bulldozer broke, and they left the mess on Wabasso (still closed), and moved part of the operation to Golden Sands (also closed).

All the contractors materials are still at Wabasso, and the beach is presumable still closed (and blocked).

According to the article at Vero Beach . Com, the gates are closed and locked to Wabasso beach. No notice was given to local businesses and beachgoers.

The same article says the beach will be closed for 3 months.

Hey Bill, The club is holding the hunt at Kiwanis-Hobart Park, Wabasso.

Missed it by l l that much. We'll be getting to Cocoa Beach just about the ime of the last hunt at Wabasso. Guess I'll have to find my own Reales!!!
