wabash & erie canal
I have an opportunity to hunt a section of the old Wabash & Erie canal in Indiana. Since this is a bit different site than I have hunted I would like any advice/thoughts on hunting canals. This canal was built circa 1840 and is very overgrown with trees etc. The old towpath is quite apparent. Where would be the most productive areas? bottom or sides of the canal? The towpath?
