Flew out to phoenix to visit my parents and my father wants me to take him and my mother metal detecting while Iām out here. I have no idea where to even begin out here. Was hoping somebody would have a recommendation for where I should go. Parks/lakes/rivers/blm land would be perfect.
My father wants to take a drive outside of the city and find a ghost town or somewhere similar to detect. Iām not from the area so idk where would be the best place to go aside from tot lots or volleyball courts but my dad wants to go out and find some old silver coins/relics rather than targeting pocket change/modern jewelry.
Any suggestions would help. Iām going to be here until the 22nd (my birthday is the 21st) and want to get my parents more interested in detecting by putting them on some better sites or finding a good permission site to detect.
