Visiting NC

[Treasure Quest]

Visiting some friends in Blounts Creek NC next week. Can anyone tell me where I might be able to do some beach and water detecting. Looks like alot of National Sea Shores that are off limits to detectorists. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a piece of property not to far from there in Bath NC. I have searched the water looking for old glass with out much luck. Lots of old history down that way. I still have to do plenty of research.I have a friend who found a GW button in Washington .
