Decided to venture off to a new site today. The first item that turned up was an apparent brass bar, thought it was lead at first due to the dull gray color and weight. Tried to bend it with fingers tho and no movement. Finding large items like this makes me feel that this field has never been detected before. Then a little further down the bean fields row had another great hit. Stuck my trowel in and pried some dirt up and had this big movement of the ground again. Turned out to be a rather old battery cable. Must have been cloth covered wiring? Later found part of a pocket watches guts. Then found part of the toy gun about 7 inches down and then put my FBS-800 coil down into the hole and got more signal, but the pin-pointer didn't get more signal tho. So I had to do some more digging deeper and too the side. This netted me the handle part of the half. Didn't manage to find anymore of that particular toy gun later. Found another toy later(bottom of picture) got a piece that looked weird then rechecked hole and got signal again so dug more and got a larger piece of the toy. It appears to be a firetruck old style maybe? Not sure. Anyways intend to hit the site again tomorrow weather allowing! Hope you enjoyed looking at the relics!
