Metal Detecting
Today I found my most coins (177!!!! :D), most nickels (15, including the pictured war nickel 1943D), and most dimes (19). WOOOHOOO!! Including a 1944S and 1951D wheatie. ;D The old ones were from a park; but the bulk were from a chance encounter with a spot where apparently billions of people have laid down to rest at and coins just jumped out of their pockets (near a big tree near businesses). Also found a class ring I'm not sure about yet, and the cool buttons pictured. But the most hilarious finds were three pull-tabs.

Two are pretty colors (I like to give pulltabs a break and collect them), but in researching the unusual one, it seems it may be a vintage 1960-1964 pulltab! :hello2: Not sure if this is enough to retire on yet, but I'm on my way to EBay! lol

Also included are an unusually shaped key and a teeny metal gun. I had to quit that awesome spot as I was exhausted and almost hallucinating (about a nine-hour detecting day in total), but it's the most unusually productive spot I've seen yet and probably still has dozens of coins left. Ya never know!

Happy Hunting! ;D

Hey, both buttons look real good! Lovely, even. Since your toy gun seems the size of the toy gun I found when we detected last week, I guess we better meet at high noon to see who's the fastest shot, lol. I'm ducking. Yo Mama Andi

Haha! Hi mama, we'll definitely need to meet at High Noon somewhere, and take ten paces (you take ten, I'll take nine :P)!

Yeah, the scan didn't bring up much details from my need to downsize it but the buttons are really neat. You'll love the white-painted brass horse too! (I might even be persuaded to give it to you!) ;D
