I picked this up at an estate sale as I enjoyed the aesthetic it. I’m curious however on who it was made by and what it dates to. I assume it’s probably around the 1970s or so as the estate sale was filled with vintage collectibles dating around that time along with some older. If anyone has any idea on who this was made by (no markings) or the date it would help a lot.
Thanks!

I like Owls.....
Not sure I would have bought it though...

Pull the base nut off and take it apart.
Could be some info in there.

Yeah it may have a mark hidden under the base. I believe it's a limited production lamp from the 70s also and was put together with an a standard off the shelf greenware design. I found a similar greenware owl pattern and one already glazed that was specifically designed to make a lamp out of. I'm not sure what you'd get out of if, but there are owl collectors out there. One of my wife's former coworkers is one. We went to her house warming party and she had owl figurines and wall art owls all over decorating her new home. Matter of fact we even gifted a ceramic owl figurine tea light for her little party.

FYI, I look for particularly interesting lamps in thrift stores and yard sales. The 60s era Venetian Murano glass lamps I'm always keeping an eye out for. I found one similar to this one for 12 bucks and sold it for over $300. without a shade. The one I had was green. The asking price on this one I found online is $2250., but they're looking for someone with more money than brains to buy it imo.
