Wow, that is a great site. I love the broaches, beautiful silver work on them. I would sure stick around that site, I would bet you there is more great stuff waiting for you.

You did a nice cleaning job on that key tag and the brooch near it. What method did you use? Great finds!

What a beautiful bunch of finds ! That dump site never ceases to amaze me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I think of all the things that you've found there that were thrown away - it really makes
me want to see the stuff they thought was worth keeping !

sheesh I wish I had a dump site like that in my area! WOW!!!!!

Thanks guys... I used electrolysis to clean some of the items. Some of the finds were from last week and the rest from yesterday. There's a few coins i did not post and the ones I did consisted of a Chinese coin, Mercury dimes and a 1800's Mexican Un Centavo copper coin. Its pretty far gone I can't read the date and do not want to damage it. I placed in Olive Oil hoping to get some of the rust and grime off. It took me a while to identify it but the eagle, the wreath and bottom rocker helped me narrow it down. If anyone has a better and safer way of cleaning it please let me know. Oh, and the coins i did not post were the usually wheaties, 1930's - 1950's mexican 20 centavos, 10 centavos, an aluminum Virginia Token and US war nickels...

Thats a very impressive set of digs there T. Y. !! :occasion14: I really like the deer ring even though it appears some of the antlers is gone, what is the ring made from?

Thanks C R Man, It seem to be made of copper and maybe silver. I fund quite a few that as soon as I clean them by electrolysis they come out spotty between brown, reddish and silver.

Very nice finds TY. Lots and lots of silver. Nicely played.

Cool T.Y. I have found a few rings that looked similar with Mexico stamps inside the metal content seems to vary a lots from near pure copper to near sterling silver.

Really nice bunch of finds.
That looks like a killer spot.

A Cool Bunch of Finds , Lots of Silver!

I have dug a-lot of Vintage Brass Pieces ...Will electrolysis help them to look like the Broach You Cleaned Up?

Sorry I missed this post back in May.

Would have been a tough hunt in Mid Summer Heat.
