This just came out of soak cleaning today after I found it a few weeks back. When it came out of the ground it was so black and dirt encrusted I thought it was just some old cup. It was a little surprising to see "FORD MADE IN USA" reveal itself today. Given the fact that FORDS have been rolling off the line since 1903 that gives a pretty wide range. I have no idea as to age or ID which is why I'm posting it.

Model T ford hubcap!:occasion14:

WOW, thanks to villagenut's ID this thing just got a huge boost. It went from potential garbage to a type of grail. Like baseball and jazz few creations out there are more iconic & American than the Ford Model T.

This just reinforces that old metal detecting maxim: DON'T THROW BEFORE YOU KNOW!
