I found another example of one here, but I still don't know what it is. The grille looks like it might be from a tractor or an early auto - notice the hole at the bottom for a crank or maybe an implement?

Edit: Never mind, nhbenz already identified it while I was typing my response. Nice find!

I don't recognize it.

But it looks a little utilitarian (to me) to be for a vintage car.
Maybe it belonged to a tractor? Or even a space heater? :dontknow:

Although, that hole near the bottom might be for a hand-crank starter, putting this in the "circa-1920's" era.
