vintage baseball fob,my oldest buffalo 1916

hello tnet members went back to my silver spot,found a 1960quarter 1956dime 1971 half not sure what the tag looking thing is, i dug this fob with chain it about 7inches deep not sure if silver only says italy looks like maybe 1950s not sure, it cleaned up good,,also a nice 1916 buffalo my oldest one of these,with a good date,,,any ideas on the fob?thanks for looking,
