Cool beach find tonight at local beach. Was working a nice 1-2' cut near the high tide line and this spoon made my detector go crazy! Thought it was junk until I rinsed it off and researched the stamps on it. From what I've found online it's a 1949 Holmes & Edwards serving spoon from the "Spring Garden" collection. Any comments or input is appreciated as I know nothing much about fancy dinnerware:tongue3: Now my kids can grow up fed by a silver spoon...they just have to share it:laughing7:
