not really im putting these up again just to see if anyone might know what they are. im guessing revolutionary war crucibles to melt lead into muscket balls haha but really i found them in an area that dates back to 1650's in Connecticut, i was in a bay area off the connecticut river which has been realllly low these past few weeks and i was out detecting on banks that are usually under a few feet of water theses were just sticking out of the sand, near a lot of broken blown glass and other red clay pottery, the area was a trading post in the 1700's if that helps

Pretty cool - How about small red ware vessels from 1750-1850. Its hard to tell from the photo but two of them appear be lead glazed. The spout areas may have maganese glaze on them. They are extremely hard to date --- there are several places around the world where people continue to regularly produce hand made red ware ---- e.g. Mexico. My instinct though say's 1750-1850. I've found these along the Raritan River in New Jersey.

the tips appear to me as if they are burnt but after looking up red ware, im convinced they are some thing in that category, i just dont know what they are tiny an have spouts i cant comprehend what somthing of this size would be used for haha, MAYBE they are super rare thats why no one knows a lot about them haha ive been on other sites to and sent pictures to buddies of mine who ccollect bottles an such but no luck..

i wonder if they are a device for measuring some expensive kind of liquid - like opium extract or something like that.

What would have helped is all the pottery shards/glass around it. Go back & get the date evidence & post all the bits you can find. This midden/dump will be easy dateable.

I think someone complaiined about my joke.

I may be wrong but I think the moderator is saying to the complainer that he sees nothing insulting or challenging here and he is not removing anything. He also see no posts by the complainer on this thread.

Your title is good. But he is asking us to be careful not to insult anyone. There was another thread about a Viking weapon that got crazy and is still ongoing..

My bad. Yes it has been crazy. It may be the economy.
