WOW the archaeologist are wrong again and they don't want us digging stuff up, it was just regular people cleaning up the banks of the river that found it. Why don't they ever get out on their own and look for stuff when they get paid for that stuff.

Incidentally, the picture in the story really is a Viking ship.

Unfortunately, it was not found near the Mississippi river...it was found in Denmark nearly 20 years ago and dates from around 1025 A.D.
