Viking Mount Field - Day 5...

After Dad did the detail GPS map of this field we both decided that there was 1 corner that needed further searching.

I did 4 hours 15 minutes & Dad did about 2 & a bit.

We were right & managed another 7 Roman Coins plus:

A Roman Fibula Top
Roman or Medieval Lead Pot Mend with finger/thumb print!
Medieval Belt Mount
3 Jettons
Roman Pendant?
Bits...

UPDATE:

As Dad was doing the IDing of the 'Alter' reverse Roman Coin, he found that RIC listed it as rarity R3 (I think he said), anyway, it was at the time of publication a Very Rare coin with only a few specimens known. COOL

UPDATE:

Viking Mount Field - Day 6:

Dad had to return to this area, because after the count we had a total of 99 Roman Bronze Coins & he couldn't leave it at that.

He got a broken Roman 'Hare' Brooch & 2 Roman Coins.
