That is just freakin' awesome man. I noticed you were at a loss for words. Just kind of takes your breath away, doesn't it? Great Clovis and a really nice video. Congrats man. Couldn't happen to a nicer feller.
 

Great video. Congratulation's !!! on a great find. I've never found a Clovis that really has to be something to find one.
 

Holy Cow that is amazing, goes to show you never know what might be hiding under the dirt. That's the closest I have ever been to finding a clovis point. Thanks for the view.

I always like his Rainbow Johnson moniker myself. I had to retire Dorkfish. It was fun while it lasted, but I got tired of people typing "nice find Dork". It brought back to many memories of grade school. lol
 

Adam, that is one ugly point. I think the Indian who made it had to be tripping on peyote while attempting to make a dung beetle effigy. I don't think you should even have it around all of your fine artifacts, it may give them some sort of a complex. I can't believe you even bothered to bend over and pick it up.

It just so happens that I have been collecting butt-ugly pointy rocks as of late, but only because there's no more paleo Gary's to be had. And, seeing how I consider you a very good friend of mine, perhaps we could kill two birds with one stone here. You could send that to me (I'm feeling generous, may even pay shipping) for my "less than purdy" collection, and then you wouldn't have to worry about it tainting your quality relics. I know, I know, not many people would make such a selfless offer, but I'm in a great mood this morning cuz I heard there's a chance Alfred E. Neuman may run for Prez.

I think you have my address, I'll be waiting! :D

P.S. - Y'all have me in a mood to make a new monicker...hmm.
 

Fantastic find, video, and insitu pics. I remember seeing this one last year in a group of photos. Do you still have a link to those field finds?
