The Victor Valley Gem & Mineral Club is having their annual "Tailgate" outdoor show next month. I missed it last year, but will be setting up this year offering California minerals like benitoite, neptunite, tourmaline, halite, hanksite & more. It's 3 days camping at the base of a fantastic mountain that offers black jade, nephrite, verde antique marble, specular hematite and more. You can find more information at their page here. They also hope to have a wifi-hotspot up and will have restrooms, food & drink.
It will be a great camping trip too. VVGMC will be leading a field trip on Saturday to go collect tri-color marble nearby. Within an hour of the event there are tons of places to collect agates, jaspers and more. If you're in California or nearby states it would be a great event to attend and even set up and sell your minerals!
