Those were referred to as "flirtation" or vanity mirrors. I found one that was gold gilted along with the gold chain last year. Accented with two small pearls!

That is a really nice relic.

I love old coins. But find enough of them and over time you appreciate the relics more.

man I just now saw the quarter you placed for size reference. Your mirror is truly a hand mirror and not the small pendant type like I found. Mine's barely larger than a quarter.
Beautiful condition!
