Found over weekend at 1860 site in Md.
Thin stamped type metal with 1 pre stamped nail hole at the bottom.
Looking for thoughts on what it could be.
4 1/4 long by 2 1/2.

Could be the remains of a hair or clothes brush. Turn of the 20th C.

That's a beautiful find CMT, it would look great straightened, tumbled and displayed in a small frame. :thumbsup:
It's even a sweeter find now that Matt was able to I.D. it for you.

Dave I just got the double tumbler from harbor freight. You would tumble this piece? Can you explain product you would use. Aquarium gravel, water, dove soap?
