The medal is 2 and 3/4 round 1/8 thick it has the words Victoria printed by the face on front , on the back has d.m inscribed.at the bottom and the number 1 inscribed at the top. there is nothing inscribed on the side. it seems to be old by the looks of the velveteen case {6 1/4 by 6 1/4 } is it worth anything? what is the medal celebrating?
