A friend and I hit a mid-1800's era Victorian, two story house on a corner lot in a quaint little SW Missouri railroad town. Lots of targets, moderate amount of trash. Some goodies were excavated, some of them being nice little surprises! Here is my loot from the two digs. Thanks for looking, get out and dig if'n you can. Cheers, Sub 8-)

Two holer and a WW2 era (?) Great Seal greatcoat button.

Curtain or hem weights and an ornate mid-century earring (intact!)

IHP's and Wheaties. My first BRASS skeleton key!

Permission 1.jpgPermission 2.jpg
my first INTACT spur. Two oil lamp tops.
Permission 3.jpgPermission 4.jpg
Two curtain rings and my first readable bale seal found in the USA.
Permission 5.jpgPermission 6.jpg

Medallion with " US Government Dist." on it. A possible brass draftsman's compass.

I would call that a fun hunt for sure, well done.
Congrats on your first key & seal.
Whats the item left of the key? First thought it might be a trigger out of a toy gun-then the ??? came to play.

Nice job Mr. Andrews....or should I say Ms. Andrews! :laughing7:

That one baffles me also PJ, it is brass for sure but I could use some opinions on it.

Maybe an early slideable coat hook or clothing at an early place that would wash/press clothes. It seems it was def used to hang something on a rod and would slide left/right. What it held I have no idea really.
