Vibra Probe 570 VS Garret Pro Pointer

Which one gets more depth?
My pinpointer gets just less than an inch.
Would love to get 2 to 2 1/2 ''..
Anyone have both?
If you have a Treasure Mate I would
like to hear about it also..

I have the 570, Garret Pro Pointer, and the pistol probe, the Garrett will get twice as deep as the 570 and the pistol probe three times as deep. The 570 being only hot on the tip I use only for water hunting to find the target in the basket that's where it works best & being fully waterproof. The Garrett being hot along the shaft and somewhat water sealed is fine at least one can hunt in the rain with it. The pistol probe is also hot along the shaft but will hit 6 inches and takes two 9 volt batteries but is not waterproof and can be ajusted rather than turn on and go. I still like the uniprobe due to the fact that its only hot on the tip and has good depth. Some of the probes interfere with some machines that should be a consideration. Dan

I have had all three, the garrett pro pointer, Vibra probe 570, and Pistol Probe. The pistol probe was extremely deep(5 plus inches) I prefer a handheld pinpointer to get about 2 inches of depth as I am a proficent pinpointer. I could not hear the speaker on the pistol probe even when I removed one side of my headphones, I barely heard the speaker. The Vibra probe has a bout 1 and 1/2 inches of range. It only vibrates, no speaker. It interfered with all my detectors. It does not have an on-off switch, but shuts off automatically after 30 seconds or so. I don't like this feature as it is constantly causing my detector to chirp until it shuts off. The Garrett propointer is the best handheld I have ever used. Two inches or so of depth. Loud enough to hear with the phones on. Vibrates also. Beeps get closer together the closer you get to your target. Well built, with a two year warranty. My personal favorite. R.L.
