There is/was a Post 1349 of the VFW in Lewistown, PA; probably the one you're looking for.
Don.....

Really the only one I found was in Alabama. That's the town I find this token in.

Very Cool!...I grew up in the VFW pretty much, My Grandfather was State Commander it seemed like every year..lol...Cool find!

OP, your first post stated you found it in Pa.; and I found a VFW post for you in Pa. with the same number.
Now, are you saying you found the token in Pa. or Georgia?
Don.....

Yea sorry I found it jn lewistown pa but when I first searched that number on it it came up as an Alabama vfw. The more I searched I found some memorabilia from vfw post 1349 from lewistown pa, but can't find a year sinxe this vfw post is no longer in lewistown. Sorry for the confussion.

Nice find! I've never seen one before.

Your token is listed as Lewistown, PA....on page 487 of the book Pennsylvania Merchant Tokens by Dr. Herman M. Aqua. He also lists a 2nd VFW post token form this town, post 7011.

Dr. Aqua notes there that the post 7011 was formerly post 1349...so it was 1349 first and then changed the number to 7011. No dates given.
the post 1349 was located at 50 Valley Street. After the post number changed it was located at 12 Chestnut street.

also Post 1349 was named the Phillips-Jones-Childs Post. Your token is listed as rarity R-6 meaning (in his book) that between 3 and 8 known.
