I love this forum. I first stumbled across it while on spring break vacay in Sedona, AZ. I was glued to this website for 4 days straight!...I thought I was one of the few out there who was obsessed with CRH... Now I know otherwise!! My CRH days go back to about 1987 when I found a 1972 Doubled Die cent (the REAL one, not one of those lesser know die varieties that u need a 700 power microscope to see). Anyway, I was searching about 5000 pennies that belonged to a friend and found it. Very cool find. Anyone else find one recently
Got me hooked on coin collecting & CRH. The good stuff was easier to find back then. War nickels would show up very frequently. I had rolls & rolls of them. I am amazed however, how much is still out there! People are still finding a lot of silver. And it has been floating around in circulation for over 50 years! Bought some boxes recently. Here are some of my recent finds:
8 boxes of dimes.... 11 silver Roosies
4 boxes of cents.... About 50 wheats
1 1970 S Small Date... That was first I've found in a roll. Those are tough to find!
4 boxes of nickels... 4 war nicks
