VERY WORN DOWN PIN

[SHERMANVILLE ILLINOIS]

Cool, windy, damp day here in my part of
Illinois.

Went out for about a hour and picked up some
clad and this pin from the local park.

Best I can do with photo, as I said, pin is very
worn down.

Stick pin, gold color, no markings as being gold,
very worn down, very small, only 7/16 X 7/16

First line, (cursive), seems to start with a J and end
with an L. My first thoughts were "Jewel" , the food
store. Could be their logo.

Second line ?

Third line seems to be "BELL", (Perpaps 3 letters here),
and ending with what seems to be "GER"
Thinking BELLRINGER.

Have to find a Jewel and find out if anyone working
can ID it.

Any help appreciated.

Perhaps, the Jewel Tea company which sold products door to door.

And....Could the second line say/be CUSTOMER?

And like diamondjim....Jewel is now part of Osco, Albertsons and who knows who else.
