Well it started out nice spending an hour at the park with my son this morning we recovered 18 coins. Not bad cause he was trying as hard as he could, well then the bad news. As most of you know that read any of my posts clad is no problem....well this afternoon my daughter had a dentist appointment at her new dentist right across from the forest preserve! Well first the good news I found a 1920 wheatie (I know not a treasure) but for me was really exciting! Well I did not have my treasure pouch that I usually put my coins into with a tennis ball tube inside. I just had the tennis ball tube in my shorts pocket.....bad idea...when i went back to the car the wheatie had escaped along with a few other coins!
I tried to find it for 20-30 minutes.....no luck....to much scrap in the forest preserve. what a downer...2 hours 26 coins only $2.43....this was worse then the hunt I only found 3 coins during the winter...
