Hello everyone. I bought this brooch at an antique shop earlier this month. They had no clue of the maker and considered it costume. I thought it was pretty unusual and possibly valuable. The spirals kind of reminded me of jewelry made by Alexander Calder.

I tried and tried to figure out the maker to no avail. I ended up trading it for something. It's still nagging me that I couldn't figure out the maker or anything about it. Does anyone have any clue about that hallmark or who the maker is? Age? Value?

I think it's someone from the 1950's -60's, American Modernist era. An unknown studio artist. You may try those forums on Online Encyclopedia of Silver Marks, Hallmarks & Makers' Marks. More then a few times I've picked up pieces similar to this and have never been able to find who's mark is on it. I keep adding them in a box in hopes I'll find out someday the maker.
