It looks like a souvenir horse shoe from the 1950/60's. The 'theme park' would emboss your name or initials across the top. When I was a kid, I got one from Tweetsie Railroad in Boone, NC. Breezie

Mine too! What's really neat is, my daughter's family went this past summer to Tweetsie and my 5 yr. old granddaughter had her pic made on the fake/stuffed horses, and I had the same pic made when I was a kid years ago. From my understanding, this will be the last year it will be open. Breezie

Agree with Ironspike and Breezie..My great uncle had one like this one nailed above the entrance into the yard for good luck.

Interesting but, with the orientation of the name, the shoe would be upside down and let out the good luck. ;)
