Previous Plan A is now available but worse than expected. I thought this sandy Barley Stubble would be easy to dig. But it was like concrete & the heavy clay fields are probably easier because of their large cracks than this.
We only lasted 1 hour 15 mins before giving up.
Late 18th C Gaming Token
17th C Token 1664
Nice Tudor Clothes Fastener (Might be a type I need)

Nice!!!! Congrats!!!!

Nice clothing faster.
You needs some rain, to soften it up.

Envious, all this from a 15 minute hunt! Often I find less in 4 hours or more! You must have a great site with concentrated targets. And of course I know you do your research very diligently. Thanks for posting. I always like the amazing (for us in North America) relics and coins you show.

Yes but we have extreme heat warning for the beginning of next week; 38. No rain forecast. It might be some time before we 'can' detect.

Nice going Crusader , You usually do pretty good over there :)
thanks for SHARING

I think you read the time incorrectly 1 hr 15 minutes or 75 minutes.

When the Roman occupation of Britain = the same time as when the colonists land in America.
It's a given that 2000 + yrs of dropping things vs 450 yrs it's a given the amount of targets are more concentrated.
Now let's put all that 2000+ year history into perspective of land mass comparison.

There' it is in a nut shell-the brown area of the map is a target rich area. :)
