Detector(s) used
Whites Quantum II Whites Spectrum
I found this coin about 5 years ago. It was funny because I was on my way back to my car and just leading with my detector like usual when I get a coin signal. 3" later I get a slab of metal I figure is probably a button. After I get it home and clean it up I see a face. I figure it is probably foreign but after looking through all my books I can not match it. I know the pics are tough but it is the best I can do. Can anyone guess? Can anyone else see the face? It is a bust facing right, a man I believe. The reverse has a couple swirls but other than that, not much can be seen. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Can you put it in a sht with an american penny to help get size refernece?
How thick is it? Do you think it's a copper...or silver?
Are the hack marks on the sides damage to the coin?

Cool find. Hope you find out what it is. There's a lot of good researchers here.

Smiles!

It has a small scratch on the cheek where you can see the copper color. The sides are damaged. It is about the same thickness as a cent. Thanks for looking.
