I bought this for one dollar today, in a box with hundreds of 45 rpm records, it is exactly 7" so that is probably why it was put there. I have heard of Berliner Records, the first record disc manufacturers ever, but never of Canadian Berliner Records. I found no other example of this label type for sale anywhere, and am wondering how much this record may be worth, because it is so hard to find and I can't find another example for sale or sold. I also got an original UK copy of The White Album by The Beatles that looks like it was played once, for under $20 there.

Any idea on when this was made until? I know it started in around 1904 with this label, but when did they stop?

Thanks!

Old Victrola record. Probably not worth much, unless it was a special 1st recording of some one prominent. I'm sure someone here has a lot more info for you.

Thanks! I got it because it is not Victrola though, but Berliner, the first record company ever made. This company later changed to Victrola in Canada.

according to wikipedia, Canadian Berliner was bought out by Victor USA in 1924

$114! I have a cabinet with over a hundred old 78s that were my Grandparents on both sides!

Granted, not that label.

The titles of some would get me my own hash-tag site from hater-hater liberals.

Well, just some of them seem to be worth something, most are worth around a dollar it seems. Lol, I have seen some pretty interesting titles on those old 78s, cool to look at them and listen to them to see how times have changed. It's crazy how some people might get offended by something that was released nearly a century ago!

If you want to see something insane, take a look at what Beatles records are selling for these days!

Average price for a nice original UK White Album! Mine is a little nicer, but it is a 1969/1970 copy apparently so it is a little less desirable, but not bad for $20!

years ago when I organized an estate sale of my parent's household, my Dad had a few dozen 78's and a portable style crank-up player that I put in the sale. Being a lover of history, and WW2 history in particular, there was one record I kept for myself. Titled "Hitler's letter to Hirohito" on one side and 'Hirohito's letter to Hitler" on the other. I thought it was pretty cool.

Here's the song someone posted on youtube if anyone cares to give it a listen:
