any clues?? found in a Church old yard Its about 2 inches by 2 1/2 inches. It says Monogram junior. I dont have a clue??

Looks like a Harp in one hand and Im guessing thats a medical staff in the other hand.

With the caduceus (possibly) on it could it be medical related?

I dont think Medical that symbol wasent used till 1902 for medical, Im thinkin more about the wand of Hermes.


Greek god Hermes (Roman god, Mercury), the messenger of the gods, guide of the dead and protector of merchants, shepherds, gamblers, liars and thieves.

Perhaps part of a casket or mortuary equipment.

Good ID Dr. Grip. I actually looked at that one but couldnt see the resemblance LOL. The big S threw me off and no cadaceus so I gave up. But you got it I think.

He probably googled "monogram junior." Several references came up, some on eBay, but were mostly too old. Very good ID.

Here's a stretch, the radiator cap could have belonged to a doctor. The person on the shield could be Asclepius, granted the serpents on the staff are not what we're used to, but you never know...

He may have changed the emblem or this may be a variation. It has the same 3 screw mounting points. I say SOLVED aftermarket radiator cap from an old Model T or something.

Or maybe it was on a hurst, gonna check that area some more it was to one side of the old church. I hade found some turn of the century coins in front of the church previously
